We met at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie Texas in 1996 where Daren majored in Pastoral Ministries and Heidi majored in Christian education specializing in children. We were married in May of 2001 and have always been involved in ministry together. We have served as associate pastors, youth pastors and worship leaders and also have taught in a christian school. Through these experiences we have learned many things that have prepared us for this time in our lives.
Our oldest son Josiah was born in July of 2002. He has been such a blessing to us. We enjoy his heart for God and watching him worship and learn more about him everyday. In November of 2004, our second son Nicolas was born. He is the total opposite of Josiah and brings life and excitement to the family. Kenan was born September of 2007 and we cannot wait to see his personality develop and get to know him better.
We are excited to embark on this new journey and fulfill the call that God has given us. We have both had a desire and call to be involved in missions for several years. It is awesome to see things come to fulfillment and how God’s timing is perfect.
We are thankful for the awesome heritage we have in our families and their involvement in ministry. We have learned from them as well as the pastors we have had the privilege to work with.
